We have an exciting opportunity in Estates and Facilities Management – Engineering and Maintenance for someone with a passion for Energy Conservation looking to use their skills in Engineering to make an impact on the reduction in University’s Carbon Footprint.
We are looking for an individual with excellent project management skills, significant experience and qualifications in an appropriate Engineering discipline. You will also have good communication skills and be able to form good working relationships with a wide range of people.
The Engineering and Maintenance function comprises a large budget with circa 140 staff including highly specialist engineers as well as in house electrical, mechanical and trade staff as well as a large number of contractors. The function is embarking on a period of transformation, seeking the most efficient and cost effective combinations of services and organising them to ensure the provision of proactive, high quality, high value services to the University.
